The check-in process was really easy because we could do it online before arriving. The staff were friendly and helpful. I love that it comes with a ticino ticket, so we get to enjoy transportation for free throughout the entire stay and access to various attractions (either free/discounted price). As a traveller, I also appreciate that there is a free washing machine and dryer that we can use (detergent included). The place is only 2 min away from the bus stop so it's very convenient to travel to the city centre and main station. I love that my room that overlook the city has a balcony; it makes it easier to get fresh air. The room has a working AC. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

Very spacious and clean studio room with queen bed at an excellent rate for Swiss standards. Microwave and fridge provided to warm-up and store your own food (there are two small discount supermarket nearby with decent prices). Just take with you a plastic fork/knife/spoon and you can have your ready made dinner or breakfast in the room.

This property really ideal, it's so close to the lake about 5 mins walk and only 15 mins walk to the centre. They are also close to the train station and main bus routes. The staff were so helpful and friendly , the room were clean and just what we needed, you see alot of bad reviews - but I'd completely disagree with these. Also they offer a free travel pass which includes discounts , I made the most of this and saved lots on transport, would recommend doing this if your staying here. I also used the washing machine and dryer which were free to use and the power was also provided, irons are also available to use. Great stay. Thanks to those members of staff for being so helpful!

Great value. Provides what you need to explore Lugano. The bus stops going both directions are just a few steps from the front door. And it has A/C, which was awesome with the heat wave while we were there! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. They let you do your laundry for free as well!

There was a kettle on the kitchen counter in our room which we could boil hot water for coffee and tea . The fridge in our room worked well. i had bought some popsicles from the gas station across the street and put them inside the fridge. The windows of the building are soundproof. It doesn’t matter if the room faces the main street, in the evening i slept well, I didn’t hear any noise from the street. The air conditioner worked good in our room during our stay. The bathroom is equipped with a bidet same as in Italy. The shower was great for my standards. The shower water was hot, and the water pressure was strong and stable. The hotel provided us with free digital cards for public transportation that could be used in the city of Lugano.

The location is central in Paradiso and easy to find. The place was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Considering the cost per night compared to hotels in the same area, the price-quality ratio is good.

Melissa was so kind to fold all our laundry. The answered our questions before check-in and were also extremely helpful during our stay. The laundry service was very efficient. The hotel is very near the train station and also 10 mins walk from Paradiso (restaurants, ferry terminal). The supermarket is also 5 mins away and there is a store at the gas station across the road.

This was the 4th time that I choose the GuestHouse Lugano Center as accomodation if I stay in the beautiful Lugano. The place has a great & calm location, and they provide every guest the Ticino Ticket which allows discounted public transport opportunities in the region and free public transport in the city. This time we traveled with a small dog, he was also welcomed . We choose them next time too! :D

Everything was great, there was even a laundry room for free. The fridge, microwave, and everything that is needed for a long stay.
